The No 26. Cook School is both informal and informative. Whether a beginner or a pro, we teach the basics to the in-depth techniques to create some of the most amazing culinary enjoyments of the world.


Enjoy complimentary wines from our No 26. Wine Club while you hustle and bustle in the kitchen with house chef Alex Needham. Alex has been with us for 12 years in many of our restaurants and is fully trained in Southern Indian, Cantonese and Peking, Classic British and all aspects of seafood.


Alex has spent the last 20 years as Head Chef and Executive Chef of the multi award-winning Fishouse Restaurant on the pier in Oban, along with opening restaurants with us like Chaakoo Bombay Café, YuWu Cantonese and many more. He is a delightful and humorous chap to spend the day with and will leave you with long lasting memories and of course, wonderful culinary skills.


Our courses range from Southern Indian, Cantonese/Peking, British Continental and Seafood. We also offer a Grand Platter Seafood Extravaganza, which is fabulous if you are entertaining up to 18 guests.


You will help prep, cook and finish all 4 courses and you can choose whether to lunch from your culinary delight or bring your guests along for dinner and enjoy the entire dining kitchen for up to 18 guests.


Unfortunately until the coronavirus restrictions on group gatherings are lifted, our Cook School cannot begin, so we look forward to welcoming our first guests when our lives finally return to normal.
